“I was able to complete six credit hours through DLP while conducting operations that spearheaded the invasion of the city of Fallujah. The Flexibility of the Distance Learning Program made this all possible!”SFC Jamal Bowers Fayetteville, NC BS Multidisciplinary Studies

Liberty University’s Distance Learning Program represents all branches of the military with over 7,000 students serving all around the globe.

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of Liberty University’s Military family, we currently serve over 8,200 military students domestically and around the globe. We understand and appreciate the demands of your full-time schedules, overseas deployments, and family responsibilities.

This is why we’d like to make it as convenient as possible for you to reach your personal and professional goals.

Here are a few reasons why Liberty is the military-friendly school for you!

  • Tuition within TA Cap: Tuition is discounted below the $250 Tuition Assistance (TA) cap per credit hour, which means no
out-of-pocket expense for you! Liberty is also a GoArmyEd partner so our active duty Army students can receive up-front TA funds!
  • Military Book Voucher: A book voucher worth between $100 and $400 will be issued per semester of enrollment to all undergraduate military students, including military spouses and veterans!
  • Graduate Tuition Discount: Tuition is discounted for service members, veterans, and military spouses to $250 per credit hour for the following online and blended programs: MSAC, MSM, MBA, MA’s, MSN, MEd, EdS, and EdD.
  • Heroes Fund Scholarship: Offered to service members and veterans who were wounded in the Gulf Wars, and spouses of service members who were killed in action. Students approved for this scholarship will be awarded an amount to cover all remaining tuition and fees once financial aid, military aid, and Veteran Affairs benefits have been deducted from the tuition and fees charged.
  • Evaluation of Military Training for College Credit: Liberty offers a free evaluation of military training and experience for college credit. All credit granted for military training is given based on the American Council on Education (ACE) guide recommendations.
